I'm Done!
I just had to share my excitement. This morning I received news that I have successfully satisfied the requirements for the Doctorate of Strategic Leadership that I've been working on at Regent University for four years. His last words were "Congratulations on a job well done, Dr. Thompson." Since receiving word this morning, I think I've had a sustained increase in heart rate!

I'm so glad that I am the first one to post on this one!! Congratulations, Pastor John-- we are all so proud of you and I know you have worked so hard on this. You truly have tht ability to cast a vision into the future and see it happen. Keep building bridges while you walk on it- you are sure to see others follow!

You have been a tremendous blessing in my life over the past few years (John and I have taken this DSL journey side-by-side). You are more than a classmate. You are a friend, brother, and model leader.
God has used this (sometimes difficult) road to refine you and prepare you for additional kingdom building responsibilities. I don't have to remind you to stay focused on Him. As you put yourself in a position to be used by God, you will continue to model Christian leadership for believers and seekers alike.

Dr. Thompson, we are very much excited for your success in the pursuant of your doctoral degree in Stategic Leadership. Congratulations. This education must be used to train African Church Leaders to reach the Islamic world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God bless.
